Patricia S. and Jamie N. planned a wonderful children’s Hanukkah service which was followed by a delicious Shabbat and Hanukkah dinner featuring latkes. We had a lot of participation from kids and parents and other congregants, which made the service very participatory. Seth C. led us in Hanukkah songs outside while we lit the giant menorah, which was constructed last year by Howard S.

We celebrated Hanukkah values of reason, self-esteem, courage, freedom, love, loyalty, generosity, and hope.
